The Plant
The Plant is a diverse 17-acre eco-industrial park located on the east side of Pittsboro, North Carolina. Home to like-minded small businesses, The Plant has turned local commerce into an experience. It’s grounds include an art gallery, a native plants nursery, many outdoor spaces for events, a coffee roaster, a candle maker, and hemp and CBD products. It also hosts a farmers’ market and farm-to-fork eateries that source local food and even raise their own animals.
The venue includes marked camping sites with outdoor showers. Camping is free with the purchase of a General Admission ticket.

Camping
Tent camping is on the left as you enter The Plant, behind a metal fence with a heron. RVs and campers are allowed through Harvest Host and RV Overnights. If you are not a member, contact The Plant for space availability.
Pet Policy
The Plant welcomes pets outdoors, though indoor policies vary by individual businesses. Pets must be kept on a leash and under control at all times. Please be considerate of other guests and clean up after your pet.

A Few Tips To Stay Healthy & Safe
- Use sunscreen and bug spray – ticks and chiggers are active in North Carolina.
- A First Aid Kit will be available in the main tent.
- Bring a flashlight
- Stay hydrated!
- Keep an eye out for one another. If you witness something that feels unsafe please report it to the nearest volunteer or instructor.
Food and Beverages
Food and beer will be available for purchase during the festival from on-site vendors. See the current event page or The Plant’s website for more information.
Alcohol Policy
The Plant does not permit customers to bring their own alcohol. The venue offers a selection of wine, beers and spirits for purchase from its fully licensed vendors.

From Chapel Hill, NC
- Take US 15-501 South from Chapel Hill, past Cole Park Plaza, Fearrington Village, and Northwood High School
- Shortly past Northwood High School, turn right onto the entrance ramp for Route 64 West
- Take exit 386 for US-64BUS toward Pittsboro
- Continue for 1.6 mi. then turn left onto Industrial Park Dr at the State Employee’s Credit Union
- Follow the road until it turns into Lorax Lane.
From Raleigh, NC
- Take US 64 West toward Pittsboro
- Take exit 386 for US-64BUS toward Pittsboro
- Continue for 1.6 mi. then turn left onto Industrial Park Dr at the State Employee’s Credit Union

From Greensboro, NC
- From I-40 / I-85, take US 421 South via Exit 126A toward Sanford to US 64
